  This story was written about various trivia. For example, "Where do fish go in winter?" or "Why does popcorn pop?". I like "What is the sound in a seashell?" the best.  The answer is the half is air molecules sound that bounce around are half of what we hear and the half is our own blood sound. I was surprised and learned because I knew about this for the first time.

  One day Henry's house received an INVITATION. Henry and Mudge liked invitation because they usually meant cake. Henry's father opened the envelope. It said that a family reunion held at Annie's house. Annie is his cousin. Henry and Mudge liked her. On the day of the reunion Henry's family drove to Annie's house to invite the reunion. There were a lot of people when they got to Annie's house. He felt nervous and very shy. Suddenly Annie saw him from up in a tree and called Henry and Mudge. Aunt Sally shouted from another tree. "It's MUDGE!" A lot of people gathered around Mudge and they loved him so Henry smiled proudly. Mudge was made for family reunions! Henry's relative were fun. They danced, sang, and laughed. There were so many cousins, but Annie was still the best cousin for Henry. When they got tired, Henry and Mudge and Annie went to Annie's room. They played in the her room. This story was written about riddles with various turkey expressions. For example, "What happened to the turkey who are too much corn?" -"He got an ear-ache". I like "When is a turkey sorry to see her name in print?"-"When it's on a menu". I thought it is irony.

  Mr. Putter lived all alone. In the mornings he was alone so he couldn't share his English muffins. In the afternoons he also couldn't share his tea because he was alone. And in the evenings he also couldn't tell stories someone. However he had most wonderful stories to tell. All day he take care of his plants such as his roses, his tulips, and his tree. He chose an old yellow cat because its bones creaked, its fur was thinning, and it seemed a little deaf, but Mr. Putter had similar points. He took the old yellow cat home and named her Tabby. She was careful about things, such as her frilly dresses and her shiny shoes, but she was fun. She liked both of Henry and Mudge. One day Henry was very happy because Annie was moving next door to Henry. Henry and Mudge thought that they have to help her. They concerned about her careful personality. When they and Henry's parents got to Annie's house on moving day. Henry found that Annie was all blotchy. She worried about leaving friends, changing schools, and her baggage being on that track. Henry remembered he crawl under the covers with Mudge when he get nervous. So, he suggested to her doing that. Henry opened the car door and Annie got under the covers. Then he rolled down the windows and closed the door. And he went to help Uncle Ed. Annie and Mudge stayed under the covers all day, and Henry brought them food, drinks and a moving man.   One Saturday morning Fox was eating breakfast in a hurry because he meet the gang. However, Fox's mom told Fox to look after Louise and go to shopping. She handed him the list which was written we need. Especially, he had to forget the tune fish for Louise's sandwich. At the market Fox ran into the gang and start shopping. They decided to have a race from one end of the store to the other. The race started! Dexter pulled out ahead, but he stopped driving  because he found nuts. Next Carmen was about win, but his cart crashed into a barrel of pickles. Finally Fox won. Some of shoppers had angry because they were very dangerous. When Fox got home, his mom was on the phone. She was angry so Fox was mowed.  When I was a child, I used to play carts at a shop and I scolded by my mother. I remembered that thing by reading this story. As I grew older, I can understood that this would be dangerous in  shop.

 One day Fox was riding his bike in the park. Then he found a tall tree. It was a grape tree. He looked up and saw Millie who was eating a bunch of grapes. Fox liked grapes so he wanted some grapes. Millie told him to climb there, but Fox didn't like high places. However Millie wanted him to climb up to her. Fox took a deep breath and  closed his eyes. Then He climbed up the tall tree, but he made a serious mistake which open his eyes. Finally he climbed back down. He challenged some times, but he couldn't. Fox went to another part of the park and sat down to think. He decided to climb the tall tree again and ran to the tall tree. And this time he can climb to the top. However he couldn't get down.  I think Fox was a courageous child. I think it was very nice that Fox gave up once, but he tried again.  I concerned how he got off the tall tree after that.

  On Saturday Carmen called Fox on the phone, and told him to go out on their skateboards. Fox heard about that and decided to go to there later. However, Fox's mom had to go to the hospital to take the twins to the doctor. So, Fox had to take care of Louise. He couldn't go to his friend's place. Fox was concentrate on TV programs so he didn't see Louise. Suddenly there was a loud crash from the backyard. Louise had taken a bad spill when Fox come there. Fox thought she is dead, but she was not dead. Fox thought this is his fault. Fox take her to her room because she said I wanted to go there. She made various requests to him, but he accepted all. However, she was not feeling better. Then, Louise's friends came their home and they said that they want to meet her to play together, but Fox said I'm sorry, she can't. However, just a minute later, she ran outside to play. Fox felt sad.  I think Louise is loved by Fox. I think Louise have to value her brother. Ho

 Fox was good at dance so he decided to enter THE BIG DANCE CONTEST. He looked for his dance partner. He looked at Carmen, but Carmen said that he didn't dance. Raisin was a great dancer so he talked her. Every day they practiced very hard for the contest. Raisin was very good, but she was still mad about something. On the day of THE BIG DANCE CONTEST. Fox went to Raisin's house, but she had the mumps. Fox cried. Fox went home and he sat down in front of the TV. Suddenly he had an idea. He decided to choose his partner was Louise. They practiced hard. They wen to THE BIG DANCE CONTEST. They danced on the stage and won second prize.   I think Raisin was still mad so she didn't went to THE BIG DANCE CONTEST. Fox was in trouble, but he won second prize. I think Fox is very great dancer. I think I want Fox and Raisin to enter THE BIG DANCE CONTEST next year.

 On Monday Fox and Millie who was his friend went to the fair. They took their picture . She suggested we have this picture each other.  On Tuesday Fox and Rose went to the fair, too. They took their picture, too. She said "Tee-hee". On Wednesday Fox and Lola went to the fair, too. They took their picture, too. She said she will carry mine everywhere. On Thursday Fox and Raisin went to the fair, too. They took their picture, too. She said don't they look silly. The next day Raisin found his pictures which were taken with other girls because Fox was showing off for Raisin. He fell out some pictures from his pocket. She cried and she was very angry.  And on Saturday Fox went ti the fair all alone and took pictures alone. I think that would be the outcome because he took pictures with various girls.  One day, Fox's mom said Fox she wanted him to take Louise who his sister , to the park. He didn't want to take her to the park, but Fox's mom gave him one of her looks so he decided to go to the park with Louise. They played at the park. For example, sandbox or the slide. However, Fox hadn't fun so he suggested to go home and watch TV. Suddenly, they saw a pretty white fox who was alone. She was alone, but she was having a fine time. She looked like a movie star. The pretty white fox's name was Raisin. Fox was surprised so he couldn't speak his own name, but Louise told her own name. Then, they played together. They found this time more fun than TV. Wait a minute later, Raisin left the park because she had piano lesson. The next day, Fox said that let's go to the park to Louise, but she didn't want to go to the park. Finally, she accepted his idea because he bought a hot dog with onion for her. They meet Raisin. She loved hot dogs, too. She told Fox she

  Lionel was very nervous because the day is his parents came to his school to talk his teacher. What will his parents say to Mrs. Banks who is his home teacher? What will Mrs. Bank tell to his parents? He didn't want to know himself at the school his parents. The day came. Lionel disturbed his parents and Mrs. Bank couldn't start talking. Will Mrs. Bank and his parents be able to start their meeting?  I thought that I could understand his feelings because it's embarrassing to tell my parents about me at the school.

  I read "The red shoes". A girl who lived in a village and called Karen was very beautiful, but she was very poor. she was bare feet in summer and wore larger wooden shoes in winter. She received red shoes from her mother, but old lady burnt them. However, she got red shoes again. She was so happy. She couldn't compare red shoes with anything in the world. But actually, the red shoes were shoes that she can't stop dancing when she wears them. She danced all day long. In the end, she had a soldier cut her feet and she was able to take off her red hoes.    I was scared when I read this story for the first time. It's difficult for me to read this story, but I want to try again.

 There were various expressions using snakes in this book.For example, "What kind of shoes do reptiles wear? - Snakers!" on first page.I like "In what river are you sure to find snakes? - The Hississippi!" the best.The expression with the Mississippi River and the croaking of the snake was very interesting.  

 Fox liked being on traffic patrol which was help folks across the street. Ever day Fox helped an old dog to cross. An old dog said he couldn't do it without Fox. One day, Fox's friends came at his corner and told we wants to go to pool with you. Fox thought that sounds like fun. They were had a lot of fun at the beach. Fox lay down in the sand and he was dreaming. The dream was an old dog and other dogs needs help. Fox run for them! How will they doing?  I think Fox is very kind. I want to be a person who can move for people like Fox.

  When Fox got home from school, his mom said him  you must take care of Louise. Fox is going to swimming with his friends, but his mom said strongly so Fox decided to take her with him. At the pool, Fox met his friends. Carmen who is Fox's friend said who was she besides Fox, but Fox  told  him don't mind her. Fox and friends had a lot of fun in the pool, but everyone found that Louise has lost. Everyone looked up she was on the high board to jump. Fox didn't like high place, but Louise wants Fox to come and get. So, Fox tried to climbed up the ladder, but she was not there. Where did she go?  I thought her older brother was poor this time. At the same time Louise was very smart because she knows how Fox can take an interest in her.

 One day, Fox's mom said that where do you go. Fox replied I'm going to the gang, but he must take care of little Louise who are his sister. He went to see his friend Dexter with Louise, but he have to help at his home all day. Fox thought that that's no fun and  went to another friend's house. Next Fox went to Betty's house, but he has chicken pox so he went to a park. He thought that this is awful. He thought long and hard so Louise was  gone somewhere. He thought his mom will be really mad and left the park to find Louise. One time, Fox looked up. It was Louise on the telephone pole! She said that she wants Fox to come and get her. Fox climbed the telephone pole, but actually he didn't like high place. Will Fox be able to catch her?  I think Fox is very kind. At first he wasn't good brother, but his thought on his sister changed him into a good brother. 

 Long ago, there was the King who has eleven sons and one daughter-Eliza. The Queen had died when Eliza was born. One bitterly cold winter, the King married again. Actually, his new wife was a witch! She doesn't take care of better her new children. She changed princes to swans and got rid of them. Eliza also was send to a farm far away. After years, Eliza was back to the palace. Then, she was changed poor girl by the witch. The King couldn't recognize her. She ran out of the castle. Fortunately, she met her brothers! They took her their cave that they live. That night, she had dream which fairy told her to make shirts for eleven princes. If she does, they changed human to birds. In addition, she lost her voice until she complete her mission. She worked hard, but one day, she was took away the castle because a prince loved her. The prince was very kind, but other people in the castle didn't like her. One day, she was thrown into jail because a priest saw her in graveyard. H
